Malviya Shiksha Sadan was established in 1975 in the memory of Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya with a view to meet the pressing educational needs of Sonepat, a rapidly developing town.

The foundation stone of this eminent institute was laid by Late Shri Babu Dwarka Nath Ji who was a man of values and principles. His selfless devotion and untiring toil helped in the growth and development of the institute. He was a friend, philosopher and guide which made him a popular figure among students, teachers and parents. His persona and ideals are deep rooted in the workings of the institute.

Sh. J.N. Arora was the founder Principal of the Institute who setup the guidelines for all round development of the students. In 1987, the school got affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi and raised its status from secondary to senior secondary school with the following disciplines, i.e. Science (Non-Medical) and Commerce. Since then, it has made rapid progress and carved out a niche for itself among the reputed institutes of the state. The school aims at discovering and developing talents of children in all the spheres i.e. academic, aesthetic, creative, sports, music etc.

The school imparts quality education thus enabling the children to meet new challenges in life and to fulfil their aspirations in today’s dynamic and progressive world . With this vision in mind in November 2007 the institute was taken over by ‘The Sonepat Hindu Educational and Charitable Society, Sonepat(Regd.), a large selfless organization and registered society founded in 1914. It is currently under the able guidance of Chairman Sh. Shri Bhagwan Gupta. The Society is running 15 reputed institutes in Sonepat. Since then it is heading towards its goal with each passing day. It is being run on public school lines to meet the growing needs of the town and to fulfil the dreams of the founder Late Shri Babu Dwarka Nath Ji.
